• Transfer from Calama airport to the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.
• Welcome.
• Visit to altiplanic lagoons: Laguna Miscanti, located on the slope of the Miscanti volcano, and Laguna Meñiques. These lagoons are part of the Flamingo National Reserve.
• Tour through the Valley of the Moon, located in the middle of the deep aridity of the Cordillera de la Sal. From here you can enjoy one of the best views of the Andes Mountain Range and its volcanos as well as spectacular colors at sunset.
• Return to the hotel.
• Visit to Puritama Hot Springs: the waters of the Puritama river rise in the mountain range and reach temperatures of up to 33°C due to their proximity to volcanic materials. They are rich in minerals offering thermal baths with medicinal properties.
• Visit to Laguna Cejar: located in the Salar de Atacama, the salty waters of the lagoon have a great flotation effect that makes bathing a relaxing and fun experience.
• Visit to Ojos del Salar, two freshwater wells in the middle of the desert.
• Visit to Tebinquinche lagoon and cocktail.
• Return to the hotel.
• Departure at dawn to the geysers of El Tatio.
• Breakfast at El Tatio.
• Visit to the Rustic Pozón where you can enjoy a thermal water bath.
• Visit to the town of Machuca, place of shepherds of llamas. This town lives on tourism and offers local products such as Andean handicrafts, llama meat, sopaipillas and empanadas.
• Visit to the Church of San Santiago, patron saint of the town.
• Return to San Pedro de Atacama.
• Free day.
• Astronomical night tour that includes:
– Lecture on basic concepts of ancient and modern astronomy.
– observation of the sky with naked eye to learn to identify the cardinal points and some zodiacal constellations.
– observation through telescopes and binoculars in the open field.
